Nate's Birthday

Happy Birthday Nate! We had a good time celebrating Nate's birthday. These are pictures from a quick little party we had at home. We just had ice cream with candles, and the kids and I went shopping for Martinelli's, fancy cheese, and crackers for a "present". Nate already knew I was going to get it for him so that we could use it in a fancy dinner at home with no kids. (Thanks for watching them Angie!) I loved how he hammed up the photos anyway. The kids had a good time.

Below is a photo of our fancy cheese, crackers, apples, and Martinelli's for the first course of our fancy dinner.

Sounds like fun. What else did you eat for your fancy dinner, and what were the cheeses you tried?

The cheeses were a Havarti Dill, a Peppercorn Smoked Cheddar, and some sort of Imported Irish Cheese...I don't remember it's proper name.

Then we had some Spinach/Artichoke mini bread bowls for another appetizer.

For the main course we had Bertolli pasta (in the frozen food section) with shrimp and asparagus in a creamy tomato sauce. I love this brand. The vegetables always come out perfectly tender and the sauces are so delicious.

For dessert we were supposed to have Martinelli's Sparkling Apple Peach with ice cream--so a fancy float in a fancy glass--but we were to full. ;)

Sounds like a yummy dinner. I've never tried a float with Martinelli's. It sounds yummy.
